In an article published by the St. Louis Federal Reserve on October 18, 2023 titled, "The State of U.S. Wealth Inequality", the top 10% of U.S. households by wealth held 69% of total household wealth. On the other hand, the bottom 50% of U.S. households by wealth held only 2.5% of total household wealth. The goal is to change this.
